Thanks to the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority and DHSS SOR Grant we were able to train our first 14 Peer Support Specialists and 4 Supervisors in Forensic Peer Support with Peerstar, LLC. We are adding the hope factor to reentry services by training peers to assist their peers in achieving their recovery goals.

The Steering Committee is considering adding a Peer Work Group specifically for individuals with a history of incarceration to work on projects like the Ride Home Project.
